I was a tenant here for quite a while about three years and when I first moved in everything was great! Staff was friendly, everything was well maintained and neighbors looked out for each other. However management changed and so did the atmosphere.
The new property manager would not work with anyone on issues or communication. Additionally when the lease was up the communication as to how long you had to remove everything and how the deposit would be reimbursed was non existent to be polite....
Theft was on the rise, multiple bikes were stolen despite being locked and management didn't do anything. Tenants would bring their flea infested pets into common areas and there were issues with homeless people sleeping or entering the common areas at night.
I used to love living here but under the new management I was happy to leave without most of my deposit as they nickle and dime you for every little thing on the way out. Upon leaving I would try and go line by line with management on how they plan to keep most of your deposit despite leaving the apartment in great condition. ( Accused my apartment of smelling like dog pee when my dog never once peed in the apartment.

I was a tenant there for 4 years and had to deal with many pest issues and major plumbing issues. The last week of my lease when I was moving out, plumbers were in my apartment cutting a hole in my wall and working on the issue all day for a week. The management forfeited a partial amount of my deposit because I was a week late giving notice (during a pandemic). The property manager told me they would have took my entire deposit because I gave 53 days notice instead of 60 (during a pandemic).... Investments limited is the stereotypical greedy corporation.

I was so desperate to find an apartment quickly. I searched every day looking for the perfect comfortable living. I stumbled upon Deerfield East. The employees made me feel right at home once I began viewing the property. This property instantly became the perfect comfortable living because it met all of my requirements. All of my questions were answered and I just adored the apartment. The one thing that I love about this apartment is the quietness. Very nice subtle neighborhood. It's located... in the heart of all of my favorite shopping places. I wouldn't trade this comfortable living for anything in the world. I would recommend this apartment to anyone.
